LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (LDP)

LAMCOR recognizes the value of further developing the leadership and management capabilities of its leadership team to drive success and growth in the organization and prepare for the next role.

Thus last June 2019, LAMCOR formally launched its Leadership Development Program for Managers (MDP) and Supervisors (SDP).

In partnership with Nomura Research Institute (NRI), the LDP is further subdivided into two categories:

1. Management Development Program (MDP) – is composed of a pre and post leadership assessment, including a series of training sessions aimed at strengthening the foundational skills of a Manager and Sr. Supervisors and prepare them for higher ones.

The workshop, which consists of 10 sessions, used a facilitator- led, structured learning activities and participants will form an action learning group to work on a LAMCOR action plan as output of the program.

To ensure a holistic learning experience, supplemental activities were embedded in the design of the program which involves that participants, their immediate superior and top management.

First session started last September 13, 2019 and last session was done last July 24, 2020.

Closing Ceremony / Celebration will be held on Nov 6, 2020 where leaders will be sharing their Learning Journeys and key takeaways in the said program.

2. Supervisor Development Program (SDP) – is composed of a series of training sessions to develop Supervisors into becoming ideal LAMCOR leaders.

It started with the setting up of the Ideal Leader /LAMCOR Supervisor Profile based on focused-group discussion with various leaders and their immediate superiors.

Three (3) training sessions on basic leadership and management skills were conducted beginning in January 24, February 21 and July 23, 2020.

Closing ceremony / graduation was held last Sep 3, 2020 in the presence of Top Management and NRI.

Each participant was awarded with a Certificate of Completion.

The above program is just one of the tools to equip leaders with the necessary skills to better handle their responsibilities. Of course, experience is the best teacher. Do not be afraid to fail, because that is where learning begins.
